You may want to plan your vacation to Ecuador between June and September or late December to January. These are the peak seasons where the Galapagos Islands are the hottest destination when cruise liners are the busiest. While lighter clothing may be apt for a tour of Galapagos, you will need warmer clothing when heading for the Andes Mountains.
